2 ops in a matter of weeks and both times as soon as I wake up I fight the pain and tiredness and all I think about is getting home to my babies.
As I was being put to sleep the 2nd time for my kidney stint the same guy that I saw in theatre when I had my port fitted said sweet dreams Kimberley, what will you dream about this time? Barbados? My answer was "no! Just going to dream about my 2 babies cos that's the best thing".
I am back on the ward feeling quite uncomfortable but that's ok. Just going to focus on getting back home ASAP!
